DAY 01: SAMDRUP JONGKHAR – NAMERI -Distance 265 Kms / 06 hrs
Your first day in Northeast India, arrieved at Samdrup Jongkhar, our company representative will receive you and after immigration assist to Nameri National Park - the National Park & Tiger Reserves of Northeast India the park covers 200 Sqkms. of area. Tourists from all over the world visit here to view the beauty of nature & the rarest treasures of flora and fauna of this park and also to enjoy river rafting in the Jia – Bhoroli River flowing through the park. Various species of birds such as the endangered White Winged Wood Duck, Ibisbill, Broadbills, Collared Falconet, Pintailed Green and Pompadour Pigeon, Wreathed and Great Hornbill, Dollarbird, Chestnut-headed and Blue-bearded Bee-eater and Daurian Redstart are found. Evening at leisure.

Overnight halt at Nameri, Eco Camp.

DAY 02: NAMERI – JORHAT- Distance 230 Km / 04 hrs
Morning trek inside the park to experience the jungle and enjoy the beauty of the Jia Bhoroli River by a soft river rafting. Afternoon drive to Jorhat – a major tea producing and tea research centre. Here you will experience stay at a Golf Resort. Overnight at Kaziranga Golf Resort.

DAY 03: JORHAT – MAJULI - JORHAT -Distance 19 Km
Today drive to Nimati Ghat to board a ferry to Majuli (around 02 hours) – largest river island and treasure of cultural heritage of this region and also the centre for Vaishnavite culture of Assam. At Majuli visit the ‘Garmur Satra’, ‘Uttar Kamalabari Satra – famous for the Satriya dance ‘Auni Ati Satra – biggest satra of Assam’ and Shamaguri Satra: A store house of famous mask craft. These satras are the epitome of the Assamese culture. Afternoon ferry back to Jorhat.

DAY 04: JORHAT – MOKOKCHUNG- Distance 104 Kms / 05 hrs
Today you will proceed to Mokokchung of the state Nagaland. Mokokchung – located at an altitude of 1325 meters above sea level, this picturesque town is the cultural center of the Ao tribes of Nagaland. The Ao Nagas is famous for their colourful dances. Evening at leisure.
Overnight at Mokokchung.

Explore Mopongcuket – to see the beautiful wood carving, Longkhum – a vanguard village of the
days of head hunting is situated at an altitude of 1846 meters and is 17 km from the Mokokchung town. The Aos have a belief that Longkhum is the resting place of the dead on their onward journey to paradise. Also visit Ungma village - the biggest Ao. According to legend, the early Aos settled here first after coming from Chungliyimti. Overnight at Mokokchung.

DAY 06: MOKOKCHUNG – KOHIMA - Distance 162 Kms / 06 hrs
After breakfast we will proceed to Kohima – the capital of the state Nagaland. The place in endowed in natural wealth along with its unique village tradition of the Angami Nagas. Evening at leisure.

Overnight at Kohima.

At Kohima visit the Kohima museum – rich in traditional arts and craft, the Kohima World War II Cemetery and Kisema village (12 km from Kohima) - it is a Naga Heritage Village, which comprises of a number of beautifully-built traditional houses and morungs (Naga boys’ dormitories). The beautiful Khonoma village – a model village for eco – tourism. Drive back to Kohima and overnight stay.

DAY 08: KOHIMA TO KAZIRANGA NP - Distance 215 Kms / 07 hrs
After breakfast, drive to Kaziranga National Park - a World Heritage Site and also a Tiger reserve is home to more than 80% of the world’s population of the Great One Horned Rhinoceros. Evening free at leisure.

Over night at Kaziranga.

Early morning take an Elephant ride inside the park – to get a close glimpse of One Horn Rhino, then back to the lodge. After breakfast we go for an exclusive jeep safari. Afternoon another
Jeep Safari inside the park.

Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

DAY 10: KAZIRANGA – SHILLONG - Distance 290 Kms / 07 hrs
Today after breakfast you will proceed to Shillong the capital of the state Meghalaya. Popularly
known as the land of mist and mountain. If time permits en route visit Umium Lake – the largest
manmade lake in northeast.

Overnight at Shillong.

DAY 11: SHILLONG – CHERRAPUNJEE- Distance 56 Kms / 02:30 hrs
You will be traveling to Cherrapunjee – the wettest place on the earth. En route visit the famous
Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak- to enjoy a bird’s eye view of Shillong city. At Cherrapunjee visit – Mawsmai Cave, Mawsmai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls and Nohkalikai Falls. After lunch at Cherrapunjee, visit Thankarang Park and Khrem Falls.

Overnight at Cherrapunjee.

DAY 12: CHERRAPUNJEE – GUWAHATI Distance 166 Kms / 06 hrs
This morning trek to the living root bridge - 3 to 4 hours from the Resort. Distance 4 km down and up 1000 feet approx. This trek starts from the Resort premises and goes downhill through
village Sohsarat. The steps are relatively steeper in two short stretches. Half the distance is covered by steps going downhill. Then there is a jungle path going along the sides of the hill leading to the Living Root Bridge with a few steps after short stretches of sloping foot path. After the trek drive to Guwahati.

Overnight at Guwahati.

DAY 13: GUWAHATI Airport
The last day of you journey, you will be transferred to Guwahati airport for onward destination. If time permits visit Kamakhya Temple – a Devi shrine.
